Vendor Survey

As we step into ownership of Rose & Holly, we’d love your feedback to help guide the next chapter of the shop.

This survey is designed to better understand your experience as a vendor, identify what’s working well, and uncover opportunities to improve operations and support.

Why Your Input Matters

Our goal is to build a supportive, well-run, and successful space for all vendors.

To do that, we need honest insight into what’s working, what isn’t, and where we can improve.

This survey is an opportunity for you to share your experience, ideas, and priorities as we move forward.

How We’ll Use Your Feedback

Your responses will help guide decisions around store operations, communication, marketing, and vendor support.

We’re committed to making thoughtful, intentional improvements that benefit both our vendors and our customers.

Inventory Management

We’ve been reviewing how inventory is currently managed in the store and have noticed some inconsistencies (such as missing product codes, unclear descriptions, and inventory mismatches).

These issues can make checkout slower and often require manual entry at the till.

As we explore improving inventory accuracy and checkout efficiency, we are considering moving to a retail POS system where inventory would be managed in-house and may include labelling inventory with a barcode system.

In this model, vendors may not have direct access to edit inventory, and the store would take a more active role in managing product listings and stock.

We’d love your input on how this would feel and what level of involvement you’d prefer.

How comfortable are you with consistently maintaining accurate inventory records (product codes, descriptions, and stock levels)?
Very comfortable — I stay on top of it regularly
Mostly comfortable — I try my best but may miss things
Somewhat comfortable — I find it challenging at times
Not very comfortable — I struggle with inventory management
How confident are you that your products in store are consistently labeled with your vendor codes, pricing, SKUs, etc.

If you did not have editing access, what level of visibility would you want?
View-only access to my inventory and sales
Monthly reports are enough
I don’t need access as long as reporting is clear
Which scenario sounds more appealing to you?
I manage my inventory and updates myself
I provide product info, and the store handles setup
Fully hands-off — store manages everything
Which would you prefer overall?
Full control over my inventory (more responsibility)
Less responsibility with store-managed inventory (more structure)
A mix of both

Vendor Communication & Community

Vendors currently communicate through a Facebook group. We know some vendors primarily use other platforms (like Instagram) or prefer not to rely on Facebook for business communication.

We're exploring the idea of a private vendor platform that would give everyone equal access to updates, resources, and discussions in one place.

How would you prefer to receive vendor/store updates? (select all that apply)
