Host a Workshop at Haven

Host your workshop in a space designed for creativity, connection, and community.

Whether you’re teaching a hands-on skill, leading a creative class, or sharing your expertise, Haven offers a warm and welcoming environment for meaningful experiences.

Our workshops are intended to bring people together while helping local makers, artists, and small businesses grow their reach and connect with new audiences.

What Makes a Great Workshop

We’re looking for engaging, hands-on workshops that align with the creative and giftable nature of Haven.

Ideal workshops are interactive, beginner-friendly (or clearly structured), and leave attendees with something they’ve created or learned.

Workshops that connect to handmade, art, self-care, home, or creative living are a great fit for our space.

Workshop Ideas

Not sure what fits? Here are some examples:

  • Candle making

  • Jewelry making

  • Floral arranging

  • Painting or illustration

  • Bath & body products creation

  • Seasonal crafts

  • DIY home decor

What We Offer

We provide a welcoming, well-known space for your workshop, along with promotion through our social channels and in-store presence.

You’ll also benefit from our established customer base and community of people who love to support local and try new creative experiences.

Host Expectations

To ensure a great experience for everyone, workshop hosts are expected to:

  • Provide a clear, organized workshop plan

  • Supply all necessary materials (unless otherwise arranged)

  • Arrive prepared and on time

  • Create a welcoming and engaging environment for attendees

  • Communicate clearly before, during, and after the event

What Happens Next

Once you apply, we’ll review your workshop idea to ensure it aligns with our space and audience. If it’s a good fit, we’ll reach out to discuss details, scheduling, and next steps.

Workshop Application

Haven is a space that celebrates creativity, craftsmanship, and community.

We occasionally host workshops and small group experiences that allow people to learn new skills, connect with others, and discover local makers.

Workshops are typically held outside regular store hours, and our space currently accommodates up to 10 participants.

We welcome proposals for creative, educational, and hands-on experiences that align with the spirit of the shop.

How Workshops Work

Workshop hosts are responsible for:

• Leading and instructing the workshop

• Providing materials or supply lists for participants

• Setting up and cleaning up their activity space

Haven provides:

• The workshop venue

• Event listing on our website

• Ticket sales processing

• Promotion through our social and sales channels

• Registration management and attendee communication

Ticket Sales & Revenue

Workshop tickets are sold through the Haven website.

Revenue from ticket sales is shared as follows:

80% to the workshop host

20% retained by Haven

This commission helps cover the use of the space, administration, staffing, event setup, and promotion.

Workshop hosts are responsible for determining their ticket price and ensuring the workshop remains financially viable.

Capacity

Our workshop space comfortably accommodates up to 10 participants, allowing for small, engaging experiences.

Scheduling

If your workshop proposal is approved, we’ll send you a scheduling link where you can choose from available workshop dates and times.

This allows hosts to select a time that works best for their schedule while helping us maintain an organized event calendar.

After the Workshop

Haven collects attendee registrations and may share attendee contact information with the workshop host for event-related communication.

Workshop attendees may also choose to join the Haven update list to stay informed about future events.
